The BlackShape Prime is the undisputed speed demon of the line-up. You are going to fly in a hypermodern aircraft. A two-seater plane in which you sit together with the instructor. You sit behind each other and there is double control. You will be flying most of the flight!

Location

The flying lessons are flown from Lelystad. In terms of movements the busiest airport in the Netherlands after Schiphol Airport. There is always a lot of activity and you can enjoy all kinds of aircraft that are constantly flying to and fro. This will make you look forward to your own flying lesson even more.

From the flight school you have a great view of the runway. Enjoy the hustle and bustle of the airport. This will get you all in the mood! Below is a map of the Netherlands, showing how far you can fly.

Theory

You start with an explanation of the basics of flying. The instructor will answer important questions in this 'briefing'. How does an aircraft stay in the air? How do the pedals work? What are all the buttons and gauges for? Of course, you can also ask any questions you may have. Are you coming to the flying school together with your partner, friend and/or family member? Then he/she is also allowed to be present. Then you all know what you will experience in the air. You do not have to pay extra for this.

The theory part always takes about 20 minutes, regardless of the time you choose for the practical part. If you order 30 minutes, you get 20 minutes of instruction plus 30 minutes of practice.

Practice

After the theory part, you go to the plane with the instructor. First, you check together whether the aircraft is ready for departure. Then you drive to the runway, this is called taxiing. Through the headphones you can hear the instructor and the control tower. The instructor asks the control tower for permission to take off. And then the moment has arrived! In the air, you can fly the plane yourself. You will soon realise that this is a very special aircraft. The controls are extremely sensitive. You feel like an F16 pilot with all the modern equipment in front of you. You can fly everything yourself except the last part of the landing. Of course, the instructor helps you with everything. He takes over if you want to look outside. Or if you want to make photos or a video.

You choose how long the practical part takes. All the durations we offer are fun. But; the longer, the more fun of course!

Remarks

This flying lesson is in a two-seater aircraft. Besides the student, no passengers can fly.
The student sits in the back of the plane
The chosen time is the time in the plane. Count on about 40 minutes for theory, preparation and so on.
There will only be flown when there is sufficient visibility and when the wind is not too strong.
Call the location on the day of your lesson to find out if it is safe to fly. You will receive the phone number with your reservation
Depending on the (weather) conditions and crowds at the airport, the agreed times may be a little later

At this location, identification is required; please bring your ID card or passport. A driving licence is not sufficient at this location

Een geweldige ervaring, zeker aan te raden. Je bent snel onderweg en de instructeur was top.

Je mag echt een flink stuk vliegen en hebt enorm veel controle, je mag ook wat scherpere manouvres uitvoeren.
Mensen informeren over het feit dat er geen video's en foto's worden genomen, ook niet tegen betaling. Mocht dat dus wel willen, dan moet je zelf een goed bevestigde borst-action-cam meenemen. Ik heb een Insta360 GO 3S meegenomen en daar top mee opgenomen.

A great experience, definitely recommended. You are on the move quickly and the instructor was top-notch.

You really get to fly quite a bit and have tremendous control, you also get to perform some sharper manoeuvres.
Please inform people that no videos and photos are taken, even for a fee. So should you want to, you need to bring your own properly attached chest-action-cam. I brought an Insta360 GO 3S and recorded top with it.

Fantastic instructor, fantastic aircraft, absolutely safe flight, everything was top notch!

Everything about the experience, the instructor however made a significant impact to have the best experience of all!
As a foreigner not familiar with the transportation that took precautions to not be late, we were a bit earlier and there was definitely nothing we could do although we were warned through the email not to be there earlier than 15 min. but we were also fearful not to be late and were hoping for a cafe in the area.

Het was in 1 woord geweldig. Het ontvangst de kennismaking met de instructeur, een enthousiaste jonge ondernemer die de mooiste baan van de wereld heeft. Je laat genieten van een bijzonder moment wat ik voor mijn verjaardag had gekregen van mijn lieve vriendin. Kon mij geen beter cadeau wensen.

Koen is een instructeur die je op een leuke en bijzondere manier je de dag van je leven geeft. Veiligheid hoog in het vaandel heeft en niets aan het toeval over laat. Maar weet hoe je mensen kunt laten genieten.
Zou niet weten wat jullie nog beter kunnen doen. Het was een warm bad met alles erop en eraan. Gewoon geweldig!!
Geen minpunt maar zou een extra dimensie geven als de opnames die onderweg worden gemaakt met de conversatie zou worden aangevuld.

Een mega ervaring die ik absoluut niet had willen missen. We hebben het een paar keer moeten uitstellen vanwege onvoldoende weersomstandigheden, maar het was het volledig waard!

Het zelf mogen besturen van het vliegtuig en de mogelijkheid om al je vragen aan de instructeur te stellen, maakten het een geweldige ervaring
