Flight Knokke-Heist - Midden-Zeeland

Do you want more than a standard flight? Are you looking for a luxurious trip? Fly in a helicopter from Knokke-Heist in Belgium to Midden-Zeeland Airport in the Netherlands and back. You can take 3 more passengers.

Location

You take off in Knokke-Heist in Belgium. From there you fly to Midden-Zeeland Airport and back again. At Midden-Zeeland Airport, you make a two-hour stop at the restaurant for lunch and a drink. From the restaurant, you have a beautiful view of the airport where you can keep a close eye on air traffic. This will make you look even more forward to your own flight.

For four people

You fly in a JetRanger Bell 206, a state-of-the-art helicopter. This package is suitable for up to 4 people. You do not pay extra for the passengers; the price is the total for the helicopter. You are the only ones who fly along.

Special machine

Flying in a helicopter is unique! Only helicopters can hover completely still in the air. The view from a helicopter is fantastic. However, they are very complex machines. That makes them expensive to build and maintain. That is why sightseeing flights in a helicopter are more expensive than on other aircraft.

The pilot welcomes you at the heliport in Knokke-Heist.

Theory

You start with an explanation of the basics of flying. In this 'briefing', the pilot will answer important questions. How do you control a helicopter? What are all the buttons and gauges for? You will learn about the main and tail rotor, the collective, cyclic and the foot control. Of course you can ask all your questions. Are you coming with your partner, friend and/or family member? Then he/she is also welcome to join us. You do not have to pay extra for this.

The theory part always takes about 30 minutes.

Practice

After the theory part you go with the pilot to the helicopter. First you check together whether the aircraft is ready for departure. You get in and put on your headphones. Through the headphones you can hear the instructor. And then it's time! During this flight you do not fly yourself. So you can enjoy the beautiful view. Of course you may take pictures or make a video.

The flight there and back takes a total of 90 minutes. The whole experience including the stop at Central Zeeland takes about 5 hours.
