About the category gliding
In the gliding category, you will find all experiences related to gliding. Both flying with a pilot and day courses.Flying with a pilot is not a lesson, it is experiencing gliding as a passenger. This is a fantastic experience, and you get an idea of what gliding is all about.
On a day course, you spend almost the whole day at a gliding club. During the day course, you will make at least 3 takeoffs. These takeoffs are then also real gliding lessons, where you fly with an instructor. During the day course, you will also attend the morning briefing, where the weather is checked and the details are discussed. You can watch the winch truck, help build and dismantle if you want. In short, you will experience what it is like to be a member of a gliding club for a day and receive lessons.
The multi-day courses are even more serious than the day courses. These really get you started on your career as a glider pilot. These courses are a great stepping stone to your LAPL glider pilot licence.
